Please check before submitting an issue

  • I know what my device, OS and App Manager versions are
  • I know how to take logs
  • I know how to reproduce the issue which may not be specific to my device

Describe the bug

Hello,
I'm unable to change components of any apps on my device using App manager V 3.1.5

To Reproduce

    1. Tap an app listed on app manager.
    1. Go to activities / services / receivers / providers / app ops.
    1. Choose the component that want to be changed (enable/disable).
    1. The switch button unable to change.

Expected behavior

The components state should be able to change & It seems also not functioning.

Logs

I can't send any logs due to I don't see any error for this. Please let me know If there is some log buffers & level that should I look into & take and / or probably other log, I'm not really good at taking a log.

Device info

  • Device: Xperia M4 E2306
  • OS Version: 6.0.1
  • App Manager Version: 3.1.5
  • Mode: Root (Magisk 23.0)

Ah Yes.
I didn't use the keyword "toggle" when I was searching.

It's likely that you've not applied the rules from 3-dots menu > apply rules as per docs.

It's likely that you've not applied the rules from 3-dots menu > apply rules as per docs.

Yes I haven't read it fully.
Recently I tried the 3 dots menu as you sugested, it said it successfully applied but the toggles/switch is not changed & unable to add more components. It will changed when app manager is closed and wipe from recent.

After you apply rules, they should be reflected immediately. Also, subsequent block/unblock should also work as expected. If they aren't, it is a bug. If this is the case, you need to take some logs during the operations and upload it here.
