Hi team,
We are investigating an initial trial of Azure Maps, and most of our users use QGIS to access their existing .tif files from a blob storage provider (e.g. Azure Storage Accounts, authenticated with Entra ID).
At the moment it appears that users need to provide a Subscription Key for their maps account in order to use this plugin with QGIS.
We are in an environment that strongly discourages the use of subscription keys, in favour of Entra ID login. I don't think we're unique in this respect :)
Is it possible to have the Maps plugin use Entra authentication? As a first pass, it could pick up credentials from DefaultAzureCredential, which will work as long as a user has performed az login using the Azure CLI.
Thank you!
