Refactor into React?

React would make a widget based system much more plausible and also help with the messy code issue. It could still be statically hosted due to it being a single page site and would provide no major downsides except for issues with maintaining the code without people who know react present.

I'm up for looking into a react based project, but it would be on a separate repo / project, not replacing this one
