Ah, I didnt realize it would only work in preview. There it works though. Having the styling present in edit/live preview would be nice nevertheless.

You may try https://github.com/mayurankv/Obsidian-Code-Styler meanwhile, it also has inline highlighting, but unlike my extension...
... You can't easily find it when looking for inline highlighting extension
That's the reason I made this one, by the way. I didn't find it.
