@Robinlovelace I'm having some trouble creating a tracked changes file.

I tried to use the latexdiff.R script but I get the following error

Package pdftex.def Error: File `README_files/figure-latex/unnamed-chunk-4-1.p
df' not found: using draft setting

For reference I am comparing README.tex (the latest version, with paper_round_2.tex.

I also tried to do this in microsoft word using the knited word files, but rmarkdown removes the tables in the paper when knitting the document.

We have two options:

  1. successfully run latexdiff.R
  2. successfully knit a word document (with tables and equations intact) and then do the tracked changes on word

Let me know if you can help with this. If I don't figure it out, I will try to submit without tracked changes (although I think it's a mandatory file to add to the submmission)

Both sound fine.

I suspect the second,

successfully knit a word document (with tables and equations intact) and then do the tracked changes on word

may be easier, tracked changes without tables should be fine.
