Setup

  • Browsers and versions: Firefox, possibly all browsers
  • MediaWiki version: 1.35
  • Pivot version: 2.3.0
  • Occurs on small screens (max-width: 640px)

Issue

The right-off-canvas-menu (and in mobile also the left one) ist only closing, when you click on the respective icon. For me, this seems not really intuitive. Users are used to click anywhere off the menu to close it again, like it's also true for the actions menu or the echo notifications. Especially, when you scroll down in the left-off-canvas-menu, you cannot close it without scrolling to top. I think it would be better, if you could close it by clicking anywhere off the menu.
And, before Im close, I am really grateful for this amazing skin, I really love it.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is designed to do... otherwise it would randomly shut on people while they try to read the menu items. Especially with longer menus. In my opinion that would be far less user friendly because it would render the menus unusable. Most mobile users are aware that tapping the top bar of the browser brings them back to the top automatically. Desktop users have a scroll wheel or scroll bar for fast scrolling.
