Font awesome for cyrillic

Hey! As far as I understand, to add font avesome icons for sidebar items, I need to specify their id in the css file. But my site in Cyrillic and the sidebar elements id looks like this:

is there any other way to add icons to menu items ?

This is more of a MediaWiki and CSS issue, than a skin issue (the skin doesn't affect how the CSS is written/targeted for Cyrillic). There are not other unique identifiers in the skin for this. I did a search and found this though, I thought it might be helpful as it should resolve the issue and allow you to target these page names:
