User menu and actions menu not working

Setup

• Database version: 8.0.28-0ubuntu0.20.04.3

Issue

I just upgraded to Mediawiki 1.37.1 from 1.35 and now the action button (the one with edit, etc) and the user menu that opens the login link, don't do anything.
In the console I get this message: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 () for load.php

I turned off every extension to see if it was related but nothing seemed to change this behavior.

These are the settings for the skin. I turned everything off to check and also because the skin can't find the resource for preload font-awesome. It looks for this resource in the root rather than in the skins folder.
