Hi,

First, thank you for your work.

I'm working on a projet with qemu and windows 98 on windows host. Because of a lot of problems with cirrus i started to look about what you have done.

I successfull made a w98 image by the past with your work and no problem i can ever launch currently it's ok. Yesterday i changed on another w98 hdd image the video card and installed the last drivers and it doesn't work.

System is not stable (bsod) sometimes, when i try to launch starcraft i receive an error

I don't remember how i did the last time, perhaps i used your advices on Vogons, this time i used the softgpu.iso, and tick only2D on the directx7 part.

I verified the file and ever copy/paste it, but i still to have the problem.

best regards.

I used the softgpu-0.4.2023.19.iso right now and it works fine.

I reinstalled directx9 just in case, removed the video card (restart each time without reboot), the first reboot is forced by directx9, i used the no fail mode to remove the video card then restart (windows host). I remove the softgpu directory, then i reinstalled all of it.

I didn't remember the IHM, i see there is a lot of difference and a new feature about VMHAL9x on the 0.5 alpha release, perhaps this is the reason...

It could be a bad setting from my side, or perhaps a real problem with this version.

edit: i work also on a arch linux version i had the same things when i forgot to use of the kvm acceleration, i think it must be something like that on the windows version of qemu.
