I'm thinking about functionality, ease of use, and not needing to use any external devices to get EXACTLY the sound we want to get out of our drum kits. I would like to include another open source software, something like Audacity (simple to use, has enough features to help out with sample editing), pre-installed and configured in the raspberry pi that will become this drum module. This will allow samples to be edited on the fly and then loaded back into the drum kit you're playing. This allows quick changes at a practice session or a venue without needing to have another pc to edit and re-load the newly edited samples in from.

Perhaps this can be implemented by adding an "edit samples" button in the main page of eXadrums, which would start up the editing software for the user - to not have to navigate out of the drum software to launch another program on the raspberry pi - we want fluid user use to be as similar to professional modules as possible.
