here is a section Extending Notarization to Komodo Smart Chains that is a summary of notarization procedure. The comprehension of it would be more accomplished:

If each transaction had a name like "checkpoint", "notarization", "reminder" or "alarm" transaction
The process of notarization is shown and provided with links to related explorers and explained how transactions in different chains are connected with each other in a straightforward or indirect way.
