Useful Docker Arguments

Name Argument Note
Port -p 25565:25565 You must use this argument to map default 25565 port (on the right) to any open port (on the left). Without it, the port will remain closed.
Volume -v /root/papermc_server:/papermc_server You must use this argument to map default papermc_server folder to a folder on your machine. Without it, the data will be lost when container stops.
Detached -d Run docker container in a detached way, allowing use of console for other tasks.
Interactive -ti Allows interacting with server via commands when container not detached (or reattached via docker attach command).
Restart policy --restart <type> Docker container restart policy. Types: no / on-failure / unless-stopped / always.
