Making a ticket to track progress on this, but still in the preliminary stages at the moment. Some requests for ability to use streaming for the returning of larger result sets or iterative updates to them. Should research how much effort would need to go into implementing this at a technical level. Iterative result updates will require much larger discussion and consortium buy-in particularly from the UI who would need to adjust their current methods of determining 'doneness' of an answer.

Looked into this briefly and it appears that it would require non-trivial changes to the Django architecture. Still doable but low priority until we start seeing result sets of a size that struggle with the current implementation.
