After archiving and creating a copy of the app, it shows the error: This application cannot be opened
but it does open when run through Xcode.

Opening project by clicking on "Cocoa Web View.xcodeproj" works without problems. Can you describe more details about your problem?

Add "WebKit.framework" in project with Xcode
