Building GHC 8.8.4 on AArch64 fails with a segfault

Describe the bug
GHC 8.8.4 is the default Haskell compiler at the moment. When building it, apparently for bootstrapping, it first builds /nix/store/wm7l4xaq4jk8w5r9kscb4h6cibjqccjz-ghc-8.6.5-binary.drv, which fails with the following message:

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Be on AArch64 machine.
2. Type

# nix-env -iA nixos.ghc

3. It starts building and eventually fails:

installing 'ghc-8.8.4'

Expected behavior
I expect the build to succeed.

Additional context
Reproduced both on Raspberrpy Pi 4 and AWS Graviton 2.
