A browser extension for Firefox and Chrome. Allows entering of Unicode values via a pop-up box, e.g. unicode characters by 4 character hex codes- e.g. "u00e9" or "00e9" for e acute- or Windows Alt key codes, e.g. "a130" for e acute. "c" produces a copyright symbol. Press Insert key, then enter a character code: aXXX or aXXXX for an Alt Code, uXXXX or XXXX for a Unicode code, c for a copyright symbol. Accepts CP437 and CP1252 Alt Codes, not CP850. Version 3 of Unicode Input. Designed principally for use with Ex Libris Alma.
