Palaten Mail | Palaten Mail Proxy

Custom email addresses with a custom domain seam quite far from a lot of users, because postfix really is just hard to setup (don't even get me started on DKIM and SPF) and a lot of home networks that don't have a static IP get blocked from most providers by default.

Palaten Mail

Palaten Mail is an email solution that allows you to setup your own email address with just a few clicks. For this we'd use the mx.palaten.host domain as the MX record, we might wanna verify domain ownership using a TXT record challenge. After the record has been checked the user is prompted to just enter the given TXT records (SPF, DKIM) and he'd be ready to go.

Pricing would be about the number of custom email addresses (most users don't need more than 3) and the email storage.

Palaten Mail Proxy

There are some people which have already setup a whole home mail server just to find out that they're on a blocklist by the ISP. Here comes Palaten Mail Proxy. It allows you to proxy an entire mail server for an entire domain.

Pricing would be about the maximum traffic, not about the quantity of email addresses and also not about the quantity of storage, as we do not save emails (Excluding scenarious where the gateway mail server is down; We'd save a limited amount of emails before rejecting new incoming ones).

Mail Queue

Both Plans include adding the ability to queue emails over HTTP/S (and other protocols) allowing backends that require sending mail to be responsive, as they don't have to wait for email sending to fail/succeed, as it normaly shouldn't do so.
