Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

In the interest of promoting an open and welcoming environment, we as contributors pledge to make participation in our project and community a discrimation free space for everyone involved, regardless of age, body size, diability, sex characteristics, gender identity, ethnicity, level of experience, education, socio economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion or sexual orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behaviours that help promote an open and positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community and the project
  • Being empathatic to other community members.

Behaviours that will not be tolerated include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are expected to take appropriate and fair action in response to instances of unacceptable behaviour.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to edit, remove or reject comments, commits, code, issues and other contributions that do not obey the code of conduct, or to ban any contributor for behaviour that is deemed inappropriate or in violation of the code of conduct.

Scope

This code of conduct applies to both project spaces and public spaces when an individual is representing the project and the community. This applies to comments under issues, messages and discussions held in the discussion pages and in the code and PR messagages as well. Contributors are expected to respectful while communicating with other members through all forms of official communication.

Enforcement

Instances of harassment, abusive or otherwise unacceptable behaviour can be reported by contacting the project team. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is demmed appropriate. The project team is obligated to conduct investigations while maintainin the confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident.

Project maintainers who do not follow or enforce the code of conduct in good faith may face reprecussions as determined by the project's leadership.
