Breaks Product Templates (12.0EE)

Hi guys,

We were investigating an issue relating to writing to product templates.

An changes to the product template would not save, always reverting back to the original information.

After tracing back the code, we found that the base write function for smile_audit was being called 3 times.

To debug we disabled logging for modifying a product template, after which all details were able to be saved.

Please could you have a look into this?
