It seems some distributions (e.g. https://metacpan.org/release/OPI/Linux-Smaps-0.13) contain extra headers which are extracted along with the rest. This creates extra files and directories and cause the indexer to fall back to "jumble mode".
Investigate whether this can be fixed by requiring Archive::Tar 1.74+ which claims to ignore the extended PAX headers.
