Problem

The client prefix keeps getting added multiple times.

TP-Link Deco Version

v3.6.0

Router Model

Deco X60

Debugging Information

There is nothing in the logs that points out the addition of the client prefix, please let me know if I need to update anything specific, will do that.

Same here. The prefix is added multiple times. I think it’s just that original name is stored with the the prefix added so next time the integration starts it gains another prefix rather than adds a prefix to the original name.
I’ve yet to test postfixes etc

Similar problem with client name POSTFIX
Analyzing the list of impacted entities, it seems to be linked to entities that are sometimes turned off for a while (long time) or entering deep sleep. For example, a smart washing machine from LG that is no more connected at all to the local network when turned off.
Some of these impacted entities have a fixed DHCP value, so it is NOT related to IP address change from my pov.
This is also not linked to entities that are related to device with multiple integrations.

Looking at the SQLLite DB, multiple lines of extra attributes are created with evolving friendly_name, lines created in the table state_attrs.
I have been initially using an underscore in the postfix string as first character. Maybe the source of this problem ? Currently, I have removed the underscore from postfix string and I can see that problem persist.
I also noticed that there are numerous states attrs entried in the DB for a same entity even for entities without the problem of multiple postfix.
Is it normal to mutiply the number of state attrs entries in the DB ? Consequence of having variable values like bandwith up/down ?

I've made a restart of home assistant and a new state attribute entry was created with one more postfix added.
