Configuring a scale on a chart w/o scales (like radar or pie) causes an error:

new Chart(ctx, {
    type: 'pie',
    options: {
        scales: {
            yAxes: [{
                ticks: {
                    beginAtZero: true
                }
            }]
        }
    }
});
