Проблема:
После скрытия и отображения виджетов через иконку в трее, меняется состояние виджетов с "На рабочем столе" на "Поверх окон". Всем виджетам не удобно переопределять расположение относительно других окон

Решение:

  1. Запоминать предыдущие состояния виджетов относительно других окон.
    либо
  2. Добавить в настройках пункт, откуда будет браться значение по умолчанию
