Allow users to monitor log updates for automated loading

With the new snapshot mode, loading new log data impacts user agency over data organization much less. Now, user's can run snapshot to commit the loaded data to memory, or compare a loaded snapshot with committed ones.

Providing the ability to monitor for log data updates would provide less back-and-forth between the game and pathViz; overall QoL feature.
