When installed as a standalone app, the /app directory is expecting some dependencies from /core to get hoisted to the top, but they don't. These packages include:

  • 'css-loader'
  • 'sass-loader'
  • 'file-loader'

This problem does not occur when used in a monorepo that uses workspaces
