Dark mode?

I use RNote for math frequently, and because I'm a procrastinator, I tend to do this late at night, so night mode would be great.

I think either an invert mode or a white / black swap mode would work well.

Check the hamburger menu, there is a dark mode. For the canvas, you can adjust the background and background pattern color.

How do you do the canvas portion of this reply, I have played with the settings for about 20 minutes and can't get the canvas to be black.

Found it a few minutes after posting, what is this icon image? I haven't seen it before to represent settings and documents. Maybe it's just me but it's position and icon made it's function unclear.
