Thanks for filing this issue @Charantl. Can you please elaborate a little more on what the use-case is? Adding historical versions of a resource to the data-warehouse is doable but that probably makes it more challenging to query the data. If you clarify how you are planning to use the historical data in your downstream data systems (dashbaords/reports/ML features/etc.) it will help.

As an alternative, if instead of having historical versions for a FHIR resource in the DWH, we keep more distant snapshots, would that solve your problem?
