The design for integrating the bulk export api with data-pipes has been documented in this doc. The integration can be broken down into the below sub tasks.

  • Trigger the FHIR Bulk API and Poll the status for completion
  • Download the NDJson data and transform them into the datawarehouse
  • Clean up the resources created during bulk export
