impossible to make a tree farm *saplings broken*

there's a weird bug that i have only experienced with this modpack
when a sapling of any default minecraft (not known if this happens with the modded trees never tried) the sapling grows but for some weird reason the tree grow up to normal height but it also grow to varying depths into the ground deleting any block in its way including bedrock .
i first discovered this bug when making a turtle tree farm as i do with any other pack that has computer craft but this glitch kept happening about every 1 in 5 trees that would grow. this glitch happen when you bone meal trees as well and planting them by hand and with the sower from industrial foregoing

To reproduce this bug plant a lot of trees and wait for them to grow then break/mine them watch the ground and the logs will have replaced the dirt and all other block beneath it.

this is not a one off for the world i have tried deleting the pack and starting a new world and the glitch continues
