Total/Current layers displays NaN #12
Comments
The dashboard currently listens to the layer change event and that seems to be triggered only after the first layer(s?) has been printed. The result is that the fan speed (coming from displaylayerprogress), layer, height and average layer time is slow to update. I will take a look at the possibility to get at least some of the info earlier. The layer average will of course still take at least one layer to calculate but the others should be possible to get earlier. The NaN issue happens on my printer too, so that will probably be an easy fix. |
Hang on. I just realized that you guys had this problem well into your prints and not only during the first few layers. This indicates that you are having adifferent kind of problem that I haven't seen before. I will try to reproduce that. |
I also have this problem, AND it breaks the layer display on the left nav (plugin DisplayLayerProgress Plugin) |
I have refactored the way the Layer info is propagated in 1.1.0 I have however not been able to reproduce the problem with the data from displaylayerprogress taking so long to propagate to the dashboard. Could this be a conflict with some setting in displaylayerprogress or some other plugin? I suggest that you open a separate issue for that |
I'm loving the dashboard so far, great work!
I have installed the display layers plug that it relies on but for some reason it doesn't display correctly. I've attached a screenshot. Any ideas?
Thank you :)
