Flickering between images in group

Hi, i'm trying to make colorbox not show white screen for fraction of the second while switching between images. But it does even on example page:
https://www.jacklmoore.com/colorbox/example1/ - No Transition + fixed width and height (75% of screen size)
when you open it for the first time - there is a very short flicker when you switch photos (you have to reload page after each try).
But it does only once, once all the photos are shown - you can switch between them and it is instant without flicker.

Can i somehow achieve same effect right at the very first run? Problem is with bigger pictures, flicker effect is muuch more noticable - and as well - once photo was seen - it doesnt flicker until page reload.
