The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within the Secure Notepad project:
- Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive or derogatory language or behavior.
- Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory comments.
- Trolling, flaming, or other disruptive behavior.
- Intimidation, threats, or any form of bullying.
- Publishing or displaying inappropriate content.
- Any other behavior that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
If you witness or experience any behavior that violates the code of conduct, please follow these steps:
- If you feel safe and comfortable doing so, address the issue directly with the person(s) involved, explaining the impact of their behavior.
- If the behavior continues or you are uncomfortable addressing the issue directly, contact the project maintainer(s) privately by email at [[email protected]].
- Provide as much detail as possible, including any relevant information, such as dates, times, locations, and individuals involved.
- The project maintainer(s) will review and investigate the report, and take appropriate actions to address the situation.
- The project maintainer(s) will maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter's identity, unless legally obligated to disclose it.
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated within the Secure Notepad project. Anyone engaged in such behavior may be subject to actions, including but not limited to:
- Warning or reprimand.
- Temporary or permanent ban from participation in the project.
- Removal of contributions.
- Reporting to appropriate authorities, if necessary.
This code of conduct applies to all project spaces, including the GitHub repository, issue tracker, code reviews, and project discussions.
