Miss search engine

I want a clock... but I miss a search engine.

Sadly I don't have the time to develop new features on this project, but I will gladly accept a PR, though I don't know if there is any webext api to use the current search engine.
Otherwise, the firefox's awesome bar is still there 😄

It seems that in the future version 63 of firefox there will be such API: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/search/get
So I might work on that when this feature hits the firefox beta channel.

How do you see the integration of the search bar? Inbetween the date and weather?

I'm only using the clock... but under the clock would be fine. Perhaps a nice trick would be that when you start typing the other widget disappear to give more space for the search bar in case their is an autocomplete.
