Both MathML and KaTeX may be used to parse the LaTeX expressions in this repo.

These parsers do not agree on what is correct LaTeX. We should make sure that we use only the common set of supported expressions.

Note: MathML is used with pandoc to export PDF files, while KaTeX is used by the online website.
