Fails on empty repository #1

Hi, thanks for your work and for distributing it on pypi!

I get an error when cloning a project with empty repositories:

git.exc.GitCommandError: Cmd('git') failed due to: exit code(128)
  cmdline: git clone -v --branch=master --progress https://gitlab.wemove.com/deployments/hmdk/hmdk-ansible.git /home/adabru/deployments/hmdk/hmdk-ansible
