Feature request: descriptions of items in the orbit analyser #3745

Adding hover tooltips could significantly improve the accessibility of the tool. However, it would require localising a large number of highly technical strings.

I imagine that we could start with English only, and see if it's useful. But I must say that I am not convinced that anyone would read a 30-line hover text explaining the meaning of Dᴛₒ in the orbit recurrence. So maybe this is a job for a documentation page in the wiki (in which case we don't really need localization, we can just trust Google Translate).

Localization is particularly painful for Russian, because we don't have a good point of contact. (We are also missing some translations in French: egg on Egg's face.)

(and I need to write some text about the local solar time of the node…)

How about displaying the description only when some key (such as Alt) is pressed? This is common in other games
