app.py should be relatively short. should be an interface of sorts.
app.py is now a tkinter app. running app.py only runs a tkinter app.
app.py should offer functionality as a backend. a bakcend to a frontend, github action, or whatever would need translating plc code.
tkinter is a frontend. this repo should be restructured, or frontend moved to separate repo that consumes this repo.
