This used to work in Emacs, I'm not sure if something has changed. I now get "Available line length is too short"

I'm on macOS 10.13.3

Don't know if it would help you but I had same problem with Neovim, iTerm2 + vim-deus colorscheme. Setting the colorscheme to default helped. (I presume the problem in my case might be "too low contrast" between letters and background or some such problem, but the error message was "Available line length is too short".)
