Currently as far as I am aware, there is no way to set/get the lighting effect state even though it is listed in the sysInfo of the device.

  lighting_effect_state: {
    enable: 1,
    name: 'Aurora',
    custom: 0,
    id: 'TapoStrip_1MClvV18i15Jq3bvJVf0eP',
    brightness: 100
  }

And the documentation says nothing about light strips

Model: KL420L5
Library Version: 4.2.0
