The current implementation for compressible single-phase flow (pressure equation) includes an upwind approximation for the total nonlinear mobility. Ideally, the discretization of a pressure equation does not require upwinding. In order to improve the implementation it is proposed the following approach: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.camwa.2018.06.040.
