in the dreambooth api, the model is automatically pushed without the need to create a model on replicate

With sdxl the behavior is the same. The naming is a little confusing in context of dreambooth.

Create a model inside your profile. example 'ccakmak60/dreambooths'
Now when you train an sdxl model it will be automatically added yo this model as "versions" of 'ccakmak60/dreambooths' when you specify the model like so:
ccakmak60/dreambooths:{{MODEL_ID_OF_SDXL}}
