The best practice for open source software is to include the full text of the license on every file of your project. This article says it well .

Just to confirm, you want Apache2 license? MIT license is shorter. That saves bits... think of all the billions of little electrons switches you could save...

I don’t want to change mid stride.

MIT license is shorter. That saves bits... think of all the billions of little electrons switches you could save...
