Timer value is not updated?

I'm displaying the timer value by using $scope variable.

<timer class="count-down-timer" countdown="settimer" max-time-unit="'minute'" interval="1000"> 00 : {{mminutes}} : {{sseconds}} </timer>

In the above settimer is my scope variable.
Whenever i come to this page the scope value is changed but the value is not changes in my timer tag.

The same problem. Tried:

1. $scope.$broadcast('timer-reset') and set value,
2. just setting the value and $scope.$apply()
3. set $scope.countdown = 0; and new value

Nothing helps.
