no feedback when manually checking for plugin updates

Version: 0.6.0-rc.2

Steps:

• Open sketchpacks
• Check for plugin updates

Result:
User will not receive any notification that the update check has started.
Also, the user does not receive any notification when the update check is complete.

Expected:
Checking for plugin updates shows a similar notification as the plugin imports
