macOS (Sonoma): Icon looks different to other Layouts?

First: thank you SO much for maintaining the layout! It helps me a lot!

I noticed that the Icon style is quite different in the dropdown menu on macOS Sonoma (no idea for other versions):

I'd love to have an icon in the same style, so that it is distinguishable from the other layouts (default German and Dvorak). Any hints on how to do that? I've found this though: https://apple.stackexchange.com/q/257905

I would definitely accept PR, but I finally switched to Linux so I cannot really maintain this repo properly (I have no access to MacOS nor Windows).
