From this morning, nothing loads in Chrome with extension enabled

Prerequisites

• I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue.
• The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
• I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO is the only extension.
• uBO uses default lists and settings.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

No URL loads if extension is on. When extension is disabled, everything loads instantly. This is in Chrome.

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

google.com

Every other imaginable URL.

Steps to Reproduce

Expected behavior

I can access any URL just like I have been able to for the past three decades.

Actual behavior

Not able to access any URL if extension is enabled.
