Unhandled IDA Crashes

IDA sometimes crashes when running DIE.
These crashes are inconsistent and seems to be hard to replicate.

This is most probably an issue related with the IDA native debugger.
I have opened an issue with HexRays regarding this problem, however at the moment it seems this is a "hard nut to crack".

HexRays have provided me with a patch to the current IDA local and remote debugger (for IDA version 6.8), however this seems to be only a partial solution and unfortunately DIE is still crashing from time to time.

Some possible solutions here are:

1. Try to use DIE with a different debugger (I haven't got to try it yet...)
2. If you do somehow manage to replicate the issue, or otherwise understand what is causing the crash update me. this is invaluable information and will help a lot with finding a permanent solution.
