Timeout Error When Publishing App

The web app 'WaterQualitySiteComparison' is able to be viewed through the following link: https://zherbz.shinyapps.io/WaterQaulitySiteComparison/ . When the web app takes longer than 60 seconds to run in the browser, after being published, it will display an error on the browser screen. I've searched around the web for solutions to this but never came across anything that was similar to my case. The only remedy to this that I've found is to cut back on the amount of data retrieval done within the server. However, doing so reduces the value of the app as it now accesses fewer sites with fewer variables for comparison. Is there another way around this issue? The package WaterML is used for the data retrieval within the server and it definitely takes the most time to load in the extensive amount of data recorded at these sites. Is there a way to speed this process up perhaps?
