This part of the docs is actually still valid if you set up any named credentials via athm aws add-saml. If you're using IAM identity center, you can add named credentials via athm aws add-sso instead, and then all the prompting is done via a web browser. Eventually I'd love to get rid of this dependency entirely, but there are a handful of things we need to make "web browser promptable" first.
