communication and design: >> create a logo that works in a square (avatar) a. Slides to guide through the whole MeetUp process (timeline, introduction of sponsors, speaker, organizer, etc.) b. MeetUp Website (containing information about old and upcoming MeetUps, provide the possibility to subscribe to a MeetUp) c. Twitter d. Flickr / Instagramm or whatever e. Webcam Livestream via Hangouts f. Codepen Teamaccount featuring pens and blogposts by guests/former speakers (Codepen Teamaccounts could be a nice feature for Codepen) g. Flyer and Poster including information about, sponsors, link to github / website / ... h. Sticker (for Tims laptop) i. Buttons (devs seem to like them)

- Custom build (awesome) system to sign on/of from a MeetUp a. get required personal data (name, mail) b. ...
- Moderation: a. welcome (when the guests come in) b. Intro (in front of the crowd) c. Introdution to sponsors, organizers (use avatars for easier communication) d. information about the process/shedule e. Code of Conduct (like the one given at the Nightly Build conf) > how we want our guest to behave / create a personal atmosphere f. introduction to each speaker (get backgroundinformation first) g. advertisement for upcoming MeetUps (the ones lead by us and others) h. conclusion and leave-taking
- talks and moderation: support the ones who speak in front of the crowd (organizers and speakers) a. hand signals (louder = thumb up, low voice = thumb down, slower = stop sign) b. helpful interruptions if a speaker runs out of concentration (eg. questions, additional information) c. speaker get a briefing (verbal and literal) about hand signals and process d. keep mental pressure to a minimum = better talks e. organizer != speaker
